Affectionatley known as Big Red.
My father in law owns it. Dropped it off so we can get rid of some yard waste, an old shed and left over material from the last remodels.
But first I have to fill it.

It runs like a top. He just replaced all the fuel lines and a new gas tank. It has tape deck! I get to dig my old cassettes!

My uncle had one of these with a 292 I6 a few years ago, that he got to help dig out his pond with. It was a bit slow.

I haven't gone under the hood yet. I'm sure it's a slug.

My Grandpa had one of these to deliver fuel to farms. His was a 76 C72 with a 427 and a manual transmission. One of his customers installed glasspacks just after the headers with pipes running the length of the chassis. My Grandpa says it was quite loud.

Oh my god this takes me back to being a kid. Was living in Riyadh and behind our apartment was a Pepsi plant and these trucks would all be lined up with their Pepsi logo on the doors.

It's nice to see one of these mules still on the job.
I'm wondering what's under the hood. The V in the VIN is making me think tall deck 427. But it could be anything as trucks like these were "repowered" with almost anything at some point.

There was nothing like a well chilled bottle of Pepsi straight from the plant when we went out each morning.
